Recently, we received approval from the Diocese of Pittsburgh to move forward with the much-needed repair, rewiring, and refitting of the chapel’s pendant chandeliers, which serve as the chapel's primary source of lighting. To raise funds needed to meet this need, we have launched a targeted fundraising campaign called, Let There Be Light.
The overall effort—a phased one that will be evident to those who visit the chapel over the next several months—is one that we cannot do alone: we need your help in three equally important ways.
First and foremost, we ask for your prayers, for the success of this campaign, and the continued protection of the chapel and providence of the Holy Spirit, through which the chapel's various and diverse needs have always been met.
In addition to your prayers, we request your presence. Far more than the installation of lights, this campaign is about our enduring mission to spread light: the light of Christ, which is forever reflected by the relics of his saints. Whether you have never visited the chapel, or have been with us countless times, we encourage you to come (or come again) and receive the spiritual treasures that await you.
Last but not least, we are in need of the resources necessary to complete this effort; toward that end, we humbly petition the financial generosity of all those in a position to support this endeavor. Specially-marked donation envelopes are available in the chapel for visitors who wish to contribute; additional donation channels are available below. All contributions are tax deductible.
