Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

On November 14, 1921, a disgruntled factory worker placed a bomb a few feet away from the image our Our Lady. The bomb exploded and destroyed the marble steps of the main altar, windows of nearby homes were blown out and bent a brass crucifix, but the image, only a few feet away, suffered no damage. In 1993, the image has been protected by bullet-proof glass.
